Software Engineer (Backend)

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain high-performance backend code following industry best practices
• Design and architect scalable backend systems, including APIs, databases, and authentication systems
• Implement server-side logic and data processing pipelines to support game features
• Collaborate with game designers to develop LiveOps tools, in-game events, and analytics systems
• Debug and solve complex software issues to optimize system performance and security
• Maintain clear documentation for code and project-related materials
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions to provide technical insights

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of software development experience, preferably in game development
• Proficiency in C#, Node.js, or C++
• Strong technical experience with Node.js, React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and MongoDB
• Solid experience with RESTful APIs and RDBMS databases
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Experience with mobile application development (Android/iOS)
• Proven ability to work in Agile or Kanban environments and manage tasks efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience shipping multiple titles on Console, PC, or Mobile
• Professional proficiency with multiple game engines
• Experience with scalability and performance optimization for high-traffic systems
