We build massive-scale infra to crawl the entire web, train state-of-the-art embedding models to process it, and design super high performant vector databases to retrieve over it. We now power search for Cursor, Cognition, HubSpot, and over 400,000 developers.

Responsibilities

• Play a critical role in the search architecture
• Work on diverse projects based on skills and interests
• Build massive-scale ML systems and high-performance infrastructure
• Recreate Google-level keyword search or build state-of-the-art crawling systems
• Develop custom vector databases for high-speed retrieval

Requirements

• Experience writing and maintaining high throughput, low latency systems
• Ability to build data processing pipelines for millions of documents per day
• Proficiency in optimizing systems to an exceptional degree
• Passion for solving the problem of finding high quality information

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high performance languages such as C++ or Rust
