Software Engineer - Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and execute multi-year, multi-team technical strategies with measurable business impact
• Deliver large-scale, high-stakes backend projects while managing complexity and ambiguity
• Build and maintain robust software architectures designed for scalability and new use cases
• Mentor engineers across teams, providing technical guidance, coaching, and fostering a growth mindset
• Partner with product teams to align technical trade-offs with customer value delivery
• Lead technical discussions, reviews, and documentation to ensure high design quality

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience delivering high-impact technical projects
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Scala, C++, or Python
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle) and NoSQL data stores at scale
• Experience developing production-quality RESTful APIs and Microservices
• Familiarity with building cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
