Responsibilities

• Design and ship features that give users deep insight into their LLM usage and performance
• Integrate, proxy, cache, and collect data from major model providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini
• Develop and evolve robust, efficient open source libraries for tracing and evaluating LLM calls
• Build highly available real-time data pipelines to ingest, store, and query large volumes of AI usage data
• Collaborate with product engineers to ship end-to-end features like code snippet bundling and multimodal output support
• Implement role-based access controls and data retention policies for enterprise use cases

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong systems thinking and experience with infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in Node.js, Go, Python, Rust, Postgres, Redis, Terraform, Docker, or AWS
• Experience with observability tooling such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog
• Ability to work through ambiguous problems and communicate clearly
