About the role

Responsibilities

  • Architect the orchestration layer for AI agents, managing state, task routing, and error handling
  • Design and build scalable, containerized microservices for the LeverEDGE engineering platform
  • Develop secure API gateways and data access layers to connect AI agents with industrial ERPs like SAP S/4HANA
  • Implement RAG integration by interfacing with Vector Databases to enable secure knowledge mining
  • Build robust connectors for external data feeds, handling rate limiting, caching, and normalization
  • Implement defense-grade security protocols, including RBAC and PII/ITAR redaction
  • Engineer systems optimized for on-premise and air-gapped deployments on local GPU clusters
  • Establish comprehensive logging, tracing, and observability mechanisms to ensure enterprise reliability

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, specifically building distributed systems or platforms for ML/AI models
  • Expert proficiency in Python (FastAPI or Django)
  • Proficiency in Go or Java for high-performance microservices
  • Deep experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying scalable applications
  • Strong background in designing RESTful APIs and gRPC services
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Vector Databases (e.g., Weaviate, Milvus)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns and ERP protocols such as OData or SOAP
  • Experience building high-availability systems in the Fintech, Healthcare, or Defense sectors
  • Ability to deliver software within structured "Stage Gate" or rigorous Systems Engineering audit environments
  • Proven track record of collaborating with Data Scientists to productize machine learning models
