Software Engineer - Back End

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the trading platform by adding new features and capacities
• Implement and optimize execution and algorithmic trading strategies
• Build new services using Golang to meet critical product and business needs
• Monitor and support production system components including trading algorithms and exchange connectivity
• Enhance the platform for low latency and high frequency trading
• Maintain a strong foundation of testing to avoid regressions
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to execute the technical roadmap

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a backend engineering role
• Proficiency in Golang or other strongly-typed languages like C#, C++, or Java
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and high-performance code design
• Experience developing large-scale concurrent, event-driven distributed systems
• Experience with event-driven or streaming architectures using technologies like NATS or Aeron
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Public cloud experience with GCP or AWS, including Serverless and BigQuery
• Understanding of order pricing, smart order routing, and execution algorithms
• Hands-on experience with the FIX protocol
• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience developing and supporting trading systems
• Solid understanding of financial markets, crypto markets, and digital asset products
• Experience building systems around Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA)
• Experience using AI assistants to augment development capabilities
