Software Engineer Assistant

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to research, develop, and deploy experiments, features, and enhancements
• Design, develop, test, and monitor code in production autonomously and reliably
• Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and other teams to frame projects and execute them
• Develop a strong understanding of the business to provide relevant client solutions
• Facilitate communication inside and outside the organization
• Stay current with new technologies and architectures, proposing implementations when relevant

Requirements

• Good programming abilities with a focus on architecture, performance, and maintainability
• Familiarity with large, high-throughput, distributed systems and large-scale data processing
• Analytical and experimental mindset; prove ideas before large investments
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse global team
• Multiple shipped projects in software engineering
• Production knowledge and practices including release, observability, and troubleshooting
