Software Engineer Assistant

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to research, develop, and deploy experiments and features that impact global revenue
• Design, develop, test, and monitor code in production autonomously and reliably
• Partner with Engineering and Product Managers to frame projects and drive execution
• Understand business needs to deliver relevant client solutions
• Stay current on new technologies and propose implementations that solve engineering challenges

Requirements

• Good programming abilities with strong focus on testing, architecture, and code quality
• Familiarity with large, high-throughput distributed systems and large-scale data processing
• Analytical and experimental mindset with a prove-first approach to development
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a diverse global team
• Multiple shipped software engineering projects
• Production knowledge including release practices, observability, and troubleshooting
