Software Engineer - Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting MES application and platform services, such as Siemens Opcenter, for global manufacturing sites
• Perform routine monitoring, housekeeping, service health checks, and log reviews under supervision
• Support basic configuration, environment readiness, and release/deployment activities
• Handle incidents and service requests related to MES following ITSM practices and defined SLAs
• Coordinate with site IT, business teams, and vendors to support triage and root cause analysis
• Help update knowledge articles, SOPs, and runbooks for MES support and deployments
• Adhere to security, access control, and GxP/CSV compliance requirements

Requirements

• Engineering degree (recent graduate)
• Knowledge of MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter)
• Understanding of ITSM practices
• Awareness of GxP/CSV compliance and documentation discipline
