Software Engineer - Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive support to end-users to address issues related to software engineering projects
• Monitor and maintain AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
• Investigate and resolve incidents related to performance, functionality, and user access
• Perform QA testing on JIRA stories within regular Agile sprints
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of support processes, issue resolutions, and user interactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical details into user-friendly language
• Participate in Sprint Retrospective sessions to drive continuous process improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of applicable experience
• 0-1 year of IT experience, preferably with familiarity in medical devices or commercial applications
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch) and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with front-end technologies including Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, or React JS
• Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Express, or FastAPI
• Ability to work effectively within an Agile, multi-disciplinary team environment
• Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and verbal interaction
