About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core libraries, frameworks, and developer tools used across the engineering organization
- Own and improve developer infrastructure used for building and testing Android Automotive OS (AAOS)
- Operate and maintain the Gerrit code review system supporting AAOS and Android platform development
- Develop and maintain automated code analysis, static analysis, and quality-gating tooling for large-scale AAOS codebases
- Collaborate with Android, platform, and application engineering teams to improve code quality, build performance, and release workflows
- Establish best practices, standards, and well-defined development paths for tooling and infrastructure across teams
- Act as the primary technical owner for all developer tooling related to Android Automotive OS
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer
- At least 1 year of experience working at an automotive technology company
- 12+ months of experience using C++, Python, ROS, Blaze, Critique, and gRPC/Protocol buffers
