Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve tools, libraries, and frameworks for the engineering team
• Build and test scalable tools for deploying to various automotive and cloud platforms
• Optimize compile and build times using tools like Bazel, CMake, and Docker
• Improve software deployment and data collection frameworks
• Identify and solve bottlenecks within the software stack

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Fluency in both English and Japanese (written and verbal)
• Experience working directly with customers
• Experience with Python, Go, Java, or Kotlin
• Experience with CI, build, and deployment technologies (Bazel, Buildkite, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
• Experience with Linux and/or ARM systems
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using C and C++
• Experience in automotive or related industries
• Experience deploying software on public clouds (AWS) or on-premise clusters
