Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ingestion and data reliability infrastructure for diverse upstream sources
• Optimize the query critical path for latency, correctness, and stability
• Develop autonomy-native visualizations including geographic views and simulation playback
• Architect agentic analytics to enable natural language data interaction
• Manage data discoverability, governance, and dataset lifecycles within a lakehouse architecture
• Create tools for data wrangling and custom ETL flows

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience
• Experience building production data infrastructure, platform engineering, or distributed systems
• Experience with large-scale data processing and query execution
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals including API design and query optimization
• Ability to operate across the stack from storage engines to product-facing APIs
• Experience developing, testing, and shipping software with coding agents

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data lakehouse architectures, table formats, or query federation
• Familiarity with observability, metrics, and alerting for data systems
• Experience with LLM tool use, agentic workflows, or semantic layers
• Exposure to multimodal data, geospatial systems, or AV/robotics tooling
