Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable robust telematics backend systems using modern microservices architecture
• Architect and implement data processing pipelines using Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and stream processing frameworks
• Develop cloud-based data storage and analytics solutions leveraging distributed, data warehouse, and time-series databases
• Implement device-to-device (D2D) communication systems to reduce latency and improve network efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, DevOps, and product managers
• Work on advanced analytics and machine learning integration for predictive maintenance and risk assessment

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in backend software development
• Proficiency in Go, C++, or Python
• Experience with cloud-native application development (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of data streaming technologies like Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, MQTT, NATS, WebRTC, or gRPC
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of API design, RESTful services, and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD and infrastructure as code

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with real-time data processing and stream analytics
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and IoT data protocols
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Knowledge of data visualization and business intelligence tools
• Experience with event-driven architecture and serverless computing
• Background in agile development methodologies
• Understanding of automotive or transportation industry standards
