Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable OTA update platforms using modern cloud-native architecture in C++ and Go
• Architect and implement secure update delivery pipelines using cryptographic signing and encrypted communication
• Build and maintain cloud-based OTA infrastructure leveraging distributed systems and containerization
• Develop versatile package management systems for handling versioning and dependencies across diverse device ecosystems
• Create efficient content delivery networks (CDNs) optimized for package distribution
• Work on advanced monitoring and analytics systems to track update success rates and performance metrics

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in distributed systems development
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Go
• Experience building scalable cloud-native applications
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of secure software deployment, including cryptographic signing and certificate management
• Experience managing packages for devices running embedded Linux and real-time operating systems
• Proficiency in microservices architecture, API design, and service mesh technologies
• Understanding of CDNs and package delivery networks (PDNs)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OTA frameworks like Mender, RAUC, or SWUpdate
• Experience with Go's cloud ecosystem including gRPC
• Proficiency with distributed database systems
• Understanding of fleet management systems and remote diagnostics
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
