Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve tools, libraries, and frameworks for the engineering team
• Build and test scalable tools for deploying to various automotive and cloud platforms
• Optimize compile and build times using tools like Bazel and CMake
• Improve software deployment and data collection frameworks
• Identify and solve bottlenecks within the software stack to increase velocity and reliability

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Fluency in both English and Japanese (written and verbal)
• Experience with Python, Go, Java, or Kotlin
• Experience with CI/CD, build, and deployment technologies (e.g., Bazel, Buildkite, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
• Experience with Linux or ARM systems
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using C and C++
• Experience working in the automotive industry or related fields
• Experience deploying software on public clouds (e.g., AWS) or on-premise clusters
