Software Engineer - Applications & Digital Products

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cutting-edge services that transform the hospitality industry in the UAE using clean, well-tested code
• Participate in system design, code reviews, and architecture discussions
• Ensure high standards of reliability, performance, security, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Build service observability using metrics, dashboards, logging, and alerting
• Lead and promote engineering best practices to improve quality, delivery, and maintainability
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes, including root cause analysis and resolution
• Drive automation and productivity improvements while communicating with global technology partners

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering using modern languages (C#, Java, Go, or Python)
• 2+ years of proficiency in .NET/C#
• Skilled in distributed system architecture, including microservices, event-driven design, and REST APIs
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis
• Proficiency in automated end-to-end testing
• Extensive experience with Docker, Terraform, IaC, and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Kibana, DataDog, or NewRelic
