Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and scale next-generation consumer cloud storage platforms and distributed systems at exabyte scale
• Design and architect new and existing systems with a focus on reliability and scaling
• Create innovative solutions using AWS technologies to protect and manage customer digital assets
• Develop products and features that enhance the Amazon Photos experience across multiple platforms including iOS, Android, Web, and Alexa devices

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling)
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proficiency in at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field
