Software Engineer

Alljoined is creating a future where humans are fully understood and augmented by technology. Our work solves the communication bottleneck between humans and computers by decoding thoughts from the brain, entirely non-invasively using deep learning and large scale EEG datasets.

Responsibilities

• Build infrastructure that enables high quality and fast research
• Own and develop pipelines for processing massive EEG datasets
• Write infrastructure powering physical experiments and data analysis
• Develop front-end tools to visualize experimental stimuli in real-time
• Manage entire software stacks, cloud infrastructure, and dependency management
• Debug low-level system performance issues and architect foundational services

Requirements

• 5+ years of production software engineering experience
• Deep expertise in Python and systems-level architecture
• Experience building and maintaining high-performance data pipelines for massive datasets
• Ability to work across the full stack
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure and dependency management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing internal libraries, SDKs, or tooling for ML or neuroscience workflows
• Experience building core Python infrastructure like interpreters or package ecosystems
• Expertise in Python performance optimization including Cython or profiling tools
