Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end UI automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript
• Implement Playwright test automation scripts for web and mobile browser applications
• Create scalable and reusable automation solutions following Page Object Model (POM) and modular design
• Integrate Playwright automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts using Tricentis Tosca for functional, regression, and integration testing
• Optimize automation frameworks to ensure scalability, reusability, and stability
• Apply QA best practices throughout the SDLC, including test planning, defect management, and reporting
• Perform risk-based testing and ensure compliance with organizational quality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues to ensure timely delivery of test results

Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of hands-on automation experience
• Strong expertise in Playwright using TypeScript
• Working experience in Tricentis Tosca with basic knowledge of Tosca DI
• High proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, async programming, and modern web testing concepts
• Proven experience building and enhancing code-based UI automation frameworks from scratch
• Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Tosca-based API testing, test case design, and execution management
• Ability to work in a hybrid automation environment combining code-based and low-code approaches
