Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and migrate cloud-hosted, serverless web applications within a secure enterprise environment
• Serve as a technical expert for the SPDB platform, ensuring high-quality software solutions and architecture integration
• Collaborate with global Airbus teams to support crucial application systems and drive DevOps initiatives
• Partner with technical departments to validate new applications, tools, and technologies
• Develop and promote best practices regarding security, architecture design, and development methodologies
• Manage application operations, including capacity planning, resource management, and release cycles
• Provide technical direction and support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members

Requirements

• Engineering graduate with 5-7 years of technical experience in software architecture and design
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
• Strong hands-on experience with Microservices, Hibernate, JDBC, and SQL
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud technologies for implementation and migration strategies
• Mandatory experience with ENOVIA V6 and VPM 1.15
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and SonarQube
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE (2022x and above)
• Knowledge of CAD tools such as CATIA V5/V6 or Windchill
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including React, Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of data analysis, project management, or budgeting
• Advanced level of English; knowledge of German is an added advantage
