Software Engineer, AI Safety

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain anti-abuse and content moderation infrastructure
• Work with engineers and researchers to utilize AI techniques to improve model alignment to human values
• Diagnose and remediate active incidents on the platform
• Build new tooling and infrastructure to address root causes of system failure

Requirements

• Experience building and running production services in high-growth, rapidly scaling environments
• Ability to debug live issues and restore systems quickly
• Experience with Python or modern languages such as C++, Rust, or Go
• Experience deploying classifiers or machine learning models or interest in modern ML infra
• Strong project management skills and ability to work with minimal guidance
