Software Engineer, AI Product

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve Dev Mode, Figma’s leading tool for developer and designer collaboration
• Develop new 0→1 products within the agentic coding space
• Collaborate closely with designers, PMs, and other engineers to craft high-quality products
• Mentor and be mentored by exceptional peers across engineering, product, and design
• Contribute to and help shape Figma’s engineering culture

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience shipping user-facing features or products as a full-stack developer
• Demonstrated strong fluency with React and TypeScript
• Experience communicating and working across functions to proactively drive solutions
• High velocity and a strong focus on user impact
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with user-facing LLM and agentic product features
• Experience leading large-scale engineering projects with high impact
• Experience driving cross-functional projects with Product, Design, Data, and Research
• Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails
• Experience developing for iOS and/or Android
