Software Engineer - AI Platform & Agents

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend platforms, APIs, and services for AI applications and intelligent automation
• Develop and deploy LLM-powered solutions, including AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, and evaluation workflows
• Create robust data and inference pipelines for real-time and batch AI workloads
• Partner with data scientists, ML engineers, and product stakeholders to bring AI capabilities into production
• Optimize systems for performance, reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency
• Implement observability, testing, monitoring, and operational best practices
• Contribute to MLOps practices such as model lifecycle management, prompt versioning, and automated deployment
• Participate in architecture reviews and help shape reusable platform capabilities

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend software development experience building scalable, resilient production systems
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, and related AI application patterns
• Experience taking AI solutions from experimentation to production deployment
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization/orchestration tools
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and caching technologies such as Redis
• Experience designing APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with MLOps, model monitoring, observability, and automated deployment pipelines
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, Java, Go, or similar modern languages
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering and product teams
• Ability to work through ambiguity and deliver measurable business value
