Software Engineer AI

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-impact product features in a cloud-native stack
• Provide technical support by adhering to architectural decisions and maintaining quality standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Data partners
• Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development and automate repetitive tasks
• Drive technical excellence by evolving systems through scalable AI architecture
• Take ownership of complex systems and contribute to product roadmaps

Requirements

• Proven experience building and maintaining business-critical applications using Node.js and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience developing scalable RESTful APIs in production
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as NextJS or React
• Demonstrated experience building highly available applications on AWS infrastructure
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments
• Ability to implement automated testing using tools like Playwright
• Solid understanding of architectural patterns like event-driven, serverless, and SOA
• Practical understanding of implementing ML models and LLMs in production
• Familiarity with AI/ML tooling such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, Vercel AI SDK, or LiteLLM
• Experience deploying LLM-powered features including RAG systems, Vector Stores, and MCP Servers
• Familiarity with LLM guardrails, monitoring, and observability practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of OOP and Functional programming paradigms
• Experience with highly available, highly scalable SaaS applications
• Working knowledge of logging and observability best practices
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and container-based technologies like Docker, Fargate, or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of GraphQL APIs
• Experience working as an AI-native engineer using agentic workflows
