Software Engineer - AI Automation & Agents

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end automation pipelines that connect business inputs like emails and documents to downstream systems via an AI processing layer.
• Develop AI agent systems, ranging from single-agent task executors to complex multi-agent coordination pipelines.
• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, including ingestion, chunking strategies, and vector store management.
• Integrate LLM services such as Azure OpenAI into production environments, focusing on prompt design, tool use, and function calling.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and Azure services to support AI workflows and integrate with enterprise systems like CRM and ERP.
• Establish human-in-the-loop governance, including confidence thresholds, approval gates, and escalation paths.
• Monitor AI operations for drift, hallucination, and token cost, ensuring high quality and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–4 years of software engineering experience building production-grade systems.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, or Java, with experience building REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt design.
• Experience building AI-powered workflows, such as automation pipelines or RAG systems.
• Experience with cloud-based application development (Azure preferred).
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and system design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel.
• Knowledge of Vector DB internals and LLM observability.
• Experience with fine-tuning models or multimodal AI.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms like Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or Gainsight.
