Software Engineer, Agents

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end product experiences that help users create and configure AI agents for real work
• Design and ship workflows that help users evaluate agent quality, inspect results, and understand failure modes
• Build product loops that help agents improve over time through feedback, evals, optimization, and self-improvement primitives
• Help users deploy and operate both auto-mode agents and more independent agents with the right guardrails, controls, and visibility
• Work across frontend, backend, prompting, harness behaviour, infrastructure and product systems to turn agent capabilities into polished user experiences
• Partner closely with design, product, research, and go-to-market teams to identify high-value agent use cases
• Balance product ambition with engineering rigor, making thoughtful tradeoffs across quality, latency, trust, and cost

Requirements

• BA/BS in computer science or a related degree
• Minimum 6+ years of experience building product software
• Strong coding skills in Go, Python, Java, or TypeScript
• Experience building reliable, well-tested systems
• Strong product sense and comfort working across user-facing experiences and backend systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI, agentic, workflow, automation, or developer-product experiences
• Leadership skills and past management experience
