Responsibilities

• Design and deliver production-grade, highly performant, and reliable AI agents
• Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) from initial pilot through deployment and iteration
• Partner with large enterprises and startups to understand business challenges and build transformative AI solutions
• Contribute to the evolution of Sierra's core platform by prototyping new tools and features based on customer needs
• Experiment with the latest voice models and integrate them at scale

Requirements

• Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
• Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
• High agency and a builder/tinkerer's mindset
• Ability to work directly with customers to solve real-world problems
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Genuine interest in Financial Services and insurance technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production
• Experience with eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, or Go
• Background as a founder or founding engineer
• Experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders
