Sierra is creating a platform to help businesses build better, more human customer experiences with AI. Founded by Bret Taylor and Clay Bavor, the company focuses on building powerful, scalable AI agents for industries like finance, healthcare, and commerce.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver production-grade, highly performant, and reliable AI agents
• Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) from initial pilot through deployment and iteration
• Partner with large enterprises and startups to solve pressing business challenges using AI
• Collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to shape the future of the Sierra platform
• Prototype new tools and features based on direct customer feedback

Requirements

• Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
• Strong technical problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments
• High agency and a builder/tinkerer mindset
• Ability to work directly with customers to solve real-world problems
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in Cantonese is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production
• Experience with eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, or prompt engineering
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, or Go
• Background as a founder or founding engineer
• Experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders
