Adapt API is a venture-backed startup building the agentic operations layer for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance. We are bringing manual and error-prone workflows into a comprehensive agentic platform to modernize the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the team and early customers to build a world-class agentic platform
- Solve hard technical problems from scratch, owning the solution through the entire development lifecycle
- Help define the tech stack and architecture for an evolving product
- Contribute to the creation of team culture, internal tooling, and processes
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional backend or full-stack engineering experience
- Experience crafting AI products, building processing pipelines, or systemic integration of external systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Early-stage startup experience or experience in unstructured, fast-paced environments
- Ability to work full-time in our San Francisco office
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with web scraping, email scraping, or browser automation
- Professional or large-scale OSS experience with TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience integrating with low-tech industries or poorly documented, antiquated APIs
