Responsibilities

• Own backend services powering Ramp’s accounting platform, syncs, and rules engine
• Build scalable systems processing millions of transactions across card, bill pay, and treasury
• Lay the technical foundation for AI agents to suggest and enforce accounting categorizations

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience in fintech or transactional systems
• Experience designing and maintaining distributed systems with high data integrity
• Proficiency in Python or a comparable modern backend language

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in compliance-heavy or regulated domains
• Familiarity with financial integrations like NetSuite or QuickBooks
• Interest in working with AI/ML teams on intelligent accounting features
