Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software applications, services, and system components
• Participate in requirements analysis, architecture design, and technical solution development
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance tuning
• Support deployment activities, including CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineers and cybersecurity staff
• Implement secure coding practices and comply with security standards
• Maintain documentation, version control, and configuration management
• Provide sustainment support, including troubleshooting and patching

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• 20 years of software development/engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 5 years additional experience in lieu of degree)
• Experience in Java programming for distributed systems, networking, and multi-threading
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Hadoop, MariaDB, Map Reduce, Docker, Python, and Ansible
• Knowledge of Linux OS development
• Willingness to contribute to open source applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Apache Accumulo, Zookeeper, NiFi, or HAProxy
• Linux operating system monitoring, tuning, and virtualization
• Agile development experience
