Software Engineer 2

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services supporting a malware analysis modernization program
• Build and enhance capabilities for a virtual malware containment enclave for secure processing of malicious code
• Develop and support malware enrichment services to improve data processing and analysis workflows
• Implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployment
• Develop RESTful APIs and Java-based applications
• Write efficient, testable, and high-quality code following best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex, system-wide issues in distributed systems
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders using Agile methodologies
• Manage code repositories and version control using Git
• Support integration with messaging systems like RabbitMQ and data platforms

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree and 14 years of experience
• Experience developing containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker
• Proficiency in Java application development and RESTful APIs
• Experience with Atlassian tools and Git
• Proficiency with IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE
• Ability to debug complex, system-wide issues
