Software Engineer 2

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components for manufacturing test automation
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis and deployment
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews
• Debug and resolve issues within software and system-level environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, test, and product engineers
• Continuously improve software quality, performance, and reliability

Requirements

• Experience in software development fundamentals, including coding, testing, and debugging
• Proficiency in at least one programming language
• Basic understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, and system interactions
• Ability to work with existing tools, frameworks, and hardware environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
• Exposure to manufacturing systems, test automation, embedded software, or firmware
• Familiarity with Agile development practices
