Software Engineer 1

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integration software to connect Hospital Information Systems (HIS) with medical devices, laboratory analyzers, and third-party applications
• Gather requirements from clients to design and implement interface solutions
• Support various integration types using HL7, FHIR, and proprietary standards
• Integrate hospital equipment including radiology systems, kiosks, and payment gateways with ERP and mobile applications

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience working with integration engines such as Mirth (NextGen), Cloverleaf, or Rhapsody
• Hands-on experience with backend development using Node.js
• Proficiency in JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB
• Strong knowledge of integration protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and file-based integrations
• Knowledge of HL7 and FHIR standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ASTM protocol and laboratory analyzers
• Healthcare domain experience involving ERP, Lab, Radiology, or Pharmacy systems
• Familiarity with FHIR implementation guides and conformance validation
• Certifications related to HL7 or FHIR
