Software Director - CPO Platform & Digital Products

Responsibilities

• Define and own the software product roadmap for CPO platforms, digital services, Smart Parking Operator solutions, and fleet management.
• Lead the strategic transition from an outsourced development model to a controlled, in-house engineering capability.
• Hire, build, and manage a scalable internal software team covering backend, frontend, DevOps, and QA.
• Oversee scalable software architecture to support platform growth, high transaction volumes, and operational reliability.
• Implement modern delivery practices, including agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and structured release management.
• Partner with sales, pre-sales, and operations teams to align technical execution with commercial objectives and client needs.
• Manage external software vendors while ensuring delivery quality, timelines, and technical outcomes.

Requirements

• 12–15 years of experience in software engineering leadership or digital platform development.
• Proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams in complex technology environments.
• Demonstrated experience transitioning from outsourced development models to in-house structures.
• Strong experience managing external software vendors and internal engineering functions.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and API-first principles.
• Proficiency with microservices, modular architecture, and event-driven systems.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and QA automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mobility platforms, EV ecosystems, IoT, or smart city technologies.
• Background in fintech, payments platforms, or large-scale digital systems with high transaction volumes.
