Software Development Test Engineer - SDET

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions to ensure applications meet enterprise quality standards.
• Prepare and execute manual test cases based on user stories and maintain automated test scripts.
• Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts.
• Track test execution milestones and report on issues or risks affecting project timelines.
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing guidance and training.
• Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues.
• Identify and manage environmental and data requirements for testing.
• Ensure process compliance and maintain associated documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience in software testing.
• Hands-on experience with API/XML testing and Selenium with Java.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
• Experience with tools including JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of the software implementation lifecycle, including smoke, black-box, and regression testing.
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite/offshore model.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
