Software Development Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software developers, delegating tasks and monitoring progress to ensure compliance with standards.
• Coach, motivate, and perform regular performance appraisals for team members to drive professional growth.
• Provide technical solutions to complex IT challenges and resolve application problems with a client-oriented approach.
• Conduct regular IT audits to identify and mitigate security weaknesses and protect sensitive data.
• Research and implement new methodologies to improve departmental functions and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Collaborate with other departments to align technical execution with company goals and visions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java development background with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Hands-on experience with Spring MVC and Hibernate.
• Proficiency with enterprise databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL, including ANSI/Native SQL knowledge.
• Experience working with JSON and Restful APIs.
• Proven technical leadership experience and the ability to manage technical teams effectively.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of application servers like JBoss, Tomcat, Weblogic, or Websphere.
• Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse, Netbeans, or IntelliJ IDEA.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
