Software Development Sr Supervisor – RF/Communications (STK)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers developing RF communications and radar modeling features for the Systems Tool Kit (STK) platform
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, feedback, and professional support to team members
• Manage team priorities, execution, and delivery against established schedules
• Partner with Product Management and Technical Leads to drive roadmap execution
• Identify technical risks, remove blockers, and ensure continuous workflow
• Support hiring and onboarding processes as the engineering team grows
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Documentation teams to ensure high release quality
• Reinforce and uphold strong software development practices across the team

Requirements

• BS in Engineering, Science, or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience; MS with 3+ years; or PhD with 1+ year
• Proven experience leading or directly supervising software engineers
• Ability to manage team priorities, execution, and complex delivery schedules
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing engineering talent
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Solid understanding of software development practices and processes
• Familiarity with RF communications, radar, or sensor operations
• U.S. citizenship is required for this position

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with STK or C++
• Proficiency in scripting/programming
• Experience with AI/ML technologies
