Software Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support an agile development team to drive professional growth and technical excellence
• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technology solutions
• Maintain high standards of code quality through regular code reviews and technical guidance
• Participate in high-level architecture and design discussions to define technical standards and best practices
• Build and maintain robust, high-performance software solutions using .NET and web technologies
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing emerging technologies and optimizing development processes
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery

Requirements

• Mandatory experience in financial services, payments, foreign exchange (FX), or fintech sectors
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership or management role (e.g., Tech Lead or Engineering Manager)
• Strong proficiency in .NET, C#, and JavaScript or TypeScript
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database design
• Experience designing, consuming, and maintaining HTTP-based web APIs
• Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture patterns, and distributed systems
