Software Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify technical requirements based on business goals and product direction
• Translate requirements into detailed architecture and design
• Execute multi-engineer, cross-team projects
• Mentor others on project management and prioritization
• Deliver quality projects and features on time and on budget
• Lead design reviews and drive technical best practices
• Participate in the full development lifecycle including code reviews, deployment, and operations
• Perform data analysis to optimize services

Requirements

• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software development life cycle
• Experience in engineering team management
• Experience in engineering
• Experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services
• Experience partnering with product and program management teams

• Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and coaching Software Engineers
