Software Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of Software Development Engineers managing critical inbound and inventory management technology.
• Provide technical leadership for distributed systems, inventory management, and retail operations at scale.
• Drive operational excellence by maintaining high-availability services and continuous improvement.
• Manage stakeholders across multiple organizations to align on technical strategy and product roadmaps.
• Foster innovation by leveraging GenAI and automation to improve operational efficiency and associate experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
• 8+ years of experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, and livesite operations.
• Proven experience in designing or architecting reliable and scalable systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and coaching Software Engineers.
• Ability to communicate technical designs and product strategy to senior leadership and diverse technical teams.
• Experience partnering closely with product and program management teams.
