Software Development Manager, Ads AI Core Services

Responsibilities

• Assemble and lead an engineering team to solve challenging technical and business problems while fostering a collaborative environment.
• Own the day-to-day maintenance and evolution of analytics systems and platforms to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including product, finance, data science, and business intelligence teams to scope technical solutions.
• Make data-driven decisions by analyzing system performance, user feedback, and business metrics to inform product improvements.
• Communicate clearly with engineers, peers, and leadership through written documentation and presentations to align on strategy.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of experience working directly within engineering teams.
• 3+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
• 8+ years of experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• Knowledge of the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Knowledge of big data technical concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and coaching Software Engineers to improve their effectiveness.
• Experience communicating technical designs and product strategy to senior leadership.
• Deep understanding of advertising technologies, such as ad servers or DSPs.
