Software Development Lead – Digital Applications

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor software development squads across web and mobile platforms.
• Own technical delivery, ensuring alignment with business and product priorities.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, UX, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver customer-facing digital solutions.
• Drive Agile delivery, managing risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
• Provide technical guidance across architecture, cloud, APIs, and mobile technologies.
• Establish engineering best practices covering coding, testing, CI/CD, security, and platform reliability.
• Champion automation, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.
• Manage team performance, capability development, and workforce planning.
• Monitor engineering KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years leading development teams.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale web and mobile applications.
• Expertise in modern software architecture, microservices, cloud platforms, and DevOps.
• Proficiency with Web technologies: React, Angular, IONIC framework, or Node.js.
• Proficiency with Backend technologies: Java, Spring Boot, APIs, and Microservices.
• Proficiency with Mobile technologies: Android (Kotlin), iOS (Swift), and/or Capacitor.
• Experience with Cloud & DevOps: AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
