Software Development Engineering - Advisor

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure system resilience and business continuity.
• Contribute to engineering excellence by promoting best practices and collaborating across multiple functional groups.
• Gather and analyze business and functional requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Identify recurring patterns in customer feedback to propose feature improvements.
• Support services before production launch through system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch readiness reviews.
• Monitor live services by tracking system health, availability, latency, and performance.
• Scale systems through automation and recommend changes to improve reliability and development velocity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• 4 years of full-stack .NET development experience.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework and .NET Core for backend development.
• Experience with RDBMS technologies including SQL Server and Oracle, including PL/SQL and performance optimization.
• Experience with Entity Framework.
• Frontend development expertise using Angular, React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with GIT and IDEs such as Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.
• Experience with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and common design patterns.
