Software Development Engineer – Sr Professional II

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions using Java, Spring framework, and Spring Boot
• Design and implement full-stack solutions focusing on digital, API, and micro-services
• Play a key role in the company's cloud migration strategy and implementation
• Utilize tools like GitHub, JIRA, and Docker to streamline the development lifecycle
• Perform integration testing of APIs using tools such as Postman
• Work on database solutions and integrations with Oracle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment
• Contribute to architecture reviews, technical research, and Proof of Concepts (POCs)

Requirements

• 5-6 years of experience in the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• 5-6 years of experience in Webservice development (REST and SOAP)
• 5-6 years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Microservices, Spring JPA, and Hibernate
• Proficiency with RDBMS (Oracle) and NoSQL (SQL Server or MongoDB)
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies including Angular, JavaScript, and HTML
• 3 years of experience translating functional and non-functional requirements into system requirements
• Strong understanding of design patterns, frameworks, and data models

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in the payments industry
• Experience with cloud platforms, API management, and Apigee Gateway
• Experience with container platforms and cloud migration strategies
• Familiarity with quality and security scan tools like Sonar, Fortify, and Web Inspect
• Experience with JIRA, GitLab, Jenkins, or Splunk
