Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IIS-hosted web applications using ASP.NET and C#
• Design and implement T-SQL stored procedures and data access layers
• Build and troubleshoot API integrations supporting data exchange workflows
• Modify and enhance UI components and transactional data flows
• Manage application version control using Git and GitLab CI/CD platforms
• Collaborate in application pipeline management using JIRA
• Draft technical and functional specifications based on security and performance requirements
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to unit, integration, and regression testing
• Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and compliance with regulated clinical system requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in full-stack web development with ownership of application components
• Proficiency in backend technologies including C#, ASP.NET, and T-SQL (SQL Server)
• Strong frontend skills in HTML and JavaScript
• Experience with IIS administration and SSL/TLS certificate management
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and request/response patterns
• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with Microsoft M365 (Power Platform, SharePoint) and ITSM platforms like JIRA or ServiceNow
