Software Development Engineer in Test

Responsibilities

• Plan and complete QE related activities including building test plans and test cases
• Review product requirements and technical design documents for PlayStation console features
• Build, maintain, and improve test automation frameworks and infrastructure
• Develop automated UI and API tests to increase coverage
• Report, track, and verify defects and monitor automation jobs
• Collaborate with distributed teams for multi-functional test plan design and execution

Requirements

• BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in UI automation for web applications
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, C++, or other programming languages
• Experience with Selenium, Appium, or UI Automation technologies
• Knowledge of testing RESTful APIs, Libraries, and SDKs
• Experience with modern web frameworks, preferably React
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing test code for game consoles or set-top boxes
• Experience developing applications, specifically game applications
• Practical experience with Git, Jenkins, and Docker
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Circle CI
