Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) – ML & LLM Systems

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test code and frameworks for ML models, NLP systems, and backend services
• Develop automated validation pipelines for data ingestion, quality checks, schema validation, and anomaly detection
• Perform model validation and verification, including accuracy benchmarking, regression testing, and drift detection
• Partner with product owners and engineers to define automation strategies and technical quality requirements
• Investigate failing tests, diagnose root causes, and implement fixes to improve system stability
• Coordinate QA and production build deployments in collaboration with infrastructure teams

Requirements

• 2+ years of industry experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
• Strong coding skills in Java, Spring Boot, and Python
• Hands-on experience testing Machine Learning models, NLP services, and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Proficiency with API testing and a solid understanding of RESTful APIs
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience building or working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
• Working knowledge of AWS services, specifically S3
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Familiarity with Linux environments and Agile/Scrum methodologies
