Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of Test Automation Frameworks for web, mobile, and desktop applications
• Develop and maintain automated code to validate front-end, middleware, and database systems
• Contribute to coding standards in Java or Python to improve the quality of automated tests
• Execute End-to-End (E2E) Integration Test packs and create written summary test reports
• Manage defect tracking and collaborate with developers to ensure timely issue resolution
• Partner with software engineers and product owners to clarify testing requirements and improve coverage

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Proficiency in Java or Python
• Experience with TestNG or similar automation frameworks
• Knowledge of Software Testing and QA principles
• Experience working in Agile environments, including exposure to TDD or BDD practices
• Experience automating frontend or backend APIs
• Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, JIRA, and Cucumber

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
